XQ dove headfirst into the world of improv in 2022, getting her start with Geneva's Murderet and Renegade Saints groups. Since then, she’s taken to the stage experimenting with a few long-form formats, from solving murder mysteries in "Murderet" , turning audience's favorite songs into montage in "Mixtape," and the fully improvised musical "No Day But Tomorrow."

In the summer of 2024, XQ and her husband David (also part of Impram cast) went on a five-week Chicago adventure, completing IO Theater summer intensive course. After more than 150 hours of doing, watching, and obsessing over improv, they’re practically overflowing with "yes, and" energy.

When she’s not on stage, XQ is either learning her sixth language (Swedish), hosting her Mandarin podcast "Convo Chinese," or making powerpoint slide in front of her laptop to make money to fund her improv classes 🙂
